BeSerene is an app-based platform that guides the user towards better mental health by training the mind to develop resilience to the stress.
It delivers a revolutionary, unique and comprehensive program that imparts the knowledge and awareness about the vital stress-causing and stress-induced disorders and conditions as well as their management techniques. Primarily the App manages Anxiety, Depressive Tendencies, Sleep, Fear, Anger and Relationship Issues.
Various static, process and outcome data variables are collected to assess the progress of the user throughout the program. Periodically and at the end of the program, a detailed progress report is shared with the user, which helps the user to measure his mental health improvement.
Integrative Approach - Psychological and Spiritual
BeSerene provides the user with an option to choose from two approaches, psychological and spiritual. Both methods support Yoga and Mindful Meditation. The psychological approach focuses on emotional, cognitive, behavioural and psychosomatic factors to deal with the mind's accumulated conditioning. The spiritual one focuses on the overall training & wellbeing of the person to deal with the mental conditioning.
Preventive and Therapeutic
BeSerene guides the user towards better health by educating the user about various stress constituents and their symptoms as well as the management techniques. In the cases of early-stage, the deterioration is arrested. At the same time, care is taken during stressful situations.

BeSerene is supported on a Tech Platform supporting wearable devices, remote digital interaction, AI-based ChatBot. Further, it has a detailed analytical engine used for
personalization of the coursework. A dashboard is provided to the user to manage and monitor his or her activities.
In the introspection section, several data variables are collected, and tips are given to the user in the form of reflective tasks in the reflection section.
Should one feel the need to interact with a live coach, the App has a provision for connecting the user with a coach over digital mediums.
The App also supports a rich Media Library which is a repository of activities. One can find various Yoga Asanas, Breathing Exercises, Light Exercises, Mudras, Mindful Meditation, Soothing Music, Articles, Videos, etc.
Detailed screening is periodically administered to the user to assess the current conditioning levels.
Daily Course Flow
Each of the constituents of the stress is handled in a separate course. The average duration of each of the course is about 30 to 60 days, and a user is expected to spend anywhere between 10 to 40 minutes a day.
A personalized activity schedule for the day is given, which is based on the Profile, Preferences, Body vitals and existing symptoms as reported by the user.
Awareness is a learning section where a user is given course work in the form of video with voice over and graphical representations for easy assimilation.
Introspection is a session where user can self-report some of the process variables such as mood, appetite, soundness of sleep, etc. daily.
Lastly, Reflections session is given where the user undertakes reflection tasks at his own pace. The system does not analyze these tasks; however, in future, if required, these inputs can be shared with the coach.
Reports and measurements
We use HealthKit/Fitbit to collect "Health Data" to sync health related data like Sleep and Hear rate periodically. This in turns is utilised to customise the overall course, tasks and activities for the user to know the progress and improvements.
