Do you agree that a strict daily schedule improves physical and mental state?
Are you the one responsible for your daily routine?
Do you need help building your daily routine around a strict schedule?
If you answered yes to those questions, this app just might be what you're looking for.
People who must manage their daily schedule on their own often need someone to just tell them "you must have lunch at exactly 1pm".
This app is that someone.
Discipline app lets you create your daily schedule, — a list of Checkpoints, which then repeat every day at exactly same time.
Every day each Checkpoint ("Lunch at 1pm") becomes a Goal, — ("today I must have Lunch at 1pm").
You can then track, when you actually had lunch, — at exactly 1pm, at 1:15 or perhaps at 12:35. The app tells you, how accurate you are at following your own schedule.
By the end of the day, you will see you average performance, ranging from 0 to 100%.
You can overview your daily performance in a form of a chart in the "History" section.
App supports timezone changes out of the box, so if you travel a lot (or twice a year — you still should follow your schedule on vacations!), you are also covered.
If you go with the Pro version, you can set reminders for your Goals. This helps if you're used to shift your meal times or going to bed time later and later every day because of prolonged tasks which you hope to finish before meal time (and sometimes because you procrastinated).
By default, you have 180 minutes to complete each goal. If goal is not completed 3 hours after goal time, it is as good as missed. If you feel like this is too easy, Pro version also lets you set less time for being late. (You can also go with more relaxed approach, and allow yourself to be more than 3 hours late).
All app data is stored on your device, however Pro version also allows you to import and export your data.
Last but not least, Pro users can set, when their day ends. If you consider 12:30am still belongs to "tonight", and not "tomorrow morning", you have the option to complete todays goals (and set checkpoints) after 12am by setting "Lights Out Time" option.
